Madi Rawson
Madi was first introduced to laser tattoo removal in 2014 when she went to Second Skin to fade some tattoos she got at an early age. That’s where she met Ben Alway, who helped her get a cover-up tattoo… which she is now removing… again.
At that time, Madi worked in Health Services in Addictions and Mental Health Counselling. It has always been a passion of hers to help others and to be meaningfully engaged in fostering community growth and support.
After a personal loss, she stepped back from her first career and reached out to Ben to retrain in laser tattoo removal.
In 2016, Madi was trained on the Quanta Q-Plus Evo by Lorenzo Kunze Jr in both Laser Theory & Safety and Laser Tattoo Removal. She apprenticed under Ben Alway of Second Skin. She continued ongoing education in a variety of laser services, such as hair removal, spider vein removal, laser facials, skin resurfacing, and the removal of pigmented lesions and sun spots.
Of all the laser services, tattoo removal has always been first and foremost on her mind. She has dedicated herself to her craft, and to the science and theory behind it. Madi continuously strives to better understand how tattoos are put into the skin, the types of inks used, and how tattoo removal all work together.
She’s always up for working on a challenging piece, and to help you achieve whatever goal you have in mind.
Madi’s laser tattoo removal career began in 2016 with Second Skin, where she worked until July of 2021 when Removery acquisitioned Ben’s business. She worked with Removery from 2021-2023 using PicoWay technology, and is now setting off on this new adventure with Heidi and Jake to create and pursue a new dream and Legacy.
